Coronavirus: Asiamold cancelled

Tagungen und Messen
Asiamold was scheduled to take place in Guangzhou from February 26-28, 2020, and has now been cancelled due to coronavirus. A new date for the fair has not yet been fixed, but is to be announced soon.

Because the virus is spreading rapidly, the Guangdong Ministry of Commerce had decided that all major events had to be cancelled. This includes Asiamold. The measure is intended to curb further spread of the coronavirus.

Asiamold should take place at the same time as SPS - Industrial Automation (SIAF). Exhibitors show the latest offerings in mould making, die casting, 3D printing, laser and automation technologies. In the future Asiamold will be supported by the Society of Advanced Moulding Technology (SAMT), among others. SAMT is the leading industry association in China since 2005. It organises a conference at the exhibition. One of the most prominent speakers at the conference will be Gao Furong, lecturer at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. There will be a summit on two-colour and multicolour injection moulding, as well as lectures on scientific injection moulding technology and a workshop on TPM (team-oriented maintenance). A summit on the 3D printing industry is planned to complement Aisamold's technical program. However, it is not yet known whether the planned program will be continued for a new date.
